Biography
Alok Talekar is a software engineer at Google DeepMind, leading efforts to apply remote sensing and machine learning to address critical challenges in agriculture in India and the global south.
A founding member of the Climate Trace initiative during his time as a Google.org Fellow with WattTime, Alok has been with Google for over nine years and has nearly 15 years of experience in the tech industry. He also co-leads Anthropocene, a grassroots climate solutions group at Google with over 5,000 members, focused on collective efforts to develop climate solutions across various sectors.
